On Today's episode, we sit down with my Client Sarah to discuss an interesting life journey that feels much like a Hallmark movie. About two years ago Sarah got a call from a friend from high school, to tell her that her son was being charged with a horrific crime, and needed help. Sarah agreed to look at the case, only to find complete police misconduct and mishandlings. Within minutes Sarah agrees to take the case pro-Bono, and has been fighting for this young man ever since. When Sarah returned to her super tiny hometown in Illinois for the first hearing, the courtroom looked much like a high school reunion.
