I met Julian in Florida when I was on my Kambo trip. He instantly knew that the marks on my arm were from kambo and asked me about it. He then shared with me that he has had a Kambo healing Ceremony and was going to have an ayahuasca ceremony in a few weeks. I knew instantly that this was a synchronistic meeting of souls and I needed to record a podcast episode with Julian. On this episode, Julian shares with us his experience with both ayahuasca and Kambo. We also discuss what lead him to go down this road of healing, and how his connection to self has grown since his experiences with plant medicine.

Jimmy was my boss for the first five years in the industry and planted the seed for hair healing long ago, when he taught me the psychology of the clients and the hair industry. We talk about those first 5 years of working together with tales ranging from salon mishaps to drug addiction.

This is the first episode I recorded Post lockdown and back in person. On this episode, I sit with Andy, a client and a good friend of mine, to discuss how meditation helps you gain awareness of your emotions. Andy found meditation shortly after leaving his Law career to chase his dreams in the NYC music industry. While he and his wife were living in NYC, Sept 11th happened. His wife was working at one of the closest schools to the world trade center when the first plane hit the towers. He said that experience was " The first time I saw how the world could fall apart so fast."

On today's episode Im with my close friend and former assistant of Capriotti Salon, Kenyetta. We chat salon talk and discuss funny stories that happened while we worked together, as well as kenyetta's life journey. Kenyetta found out she was pregnant after losing her virginity at the age of 16, she tells us the ups and downs of young motherhood and how she is able to stay in a positive mindset, no matter what life brings. After Leaving Capriotti salon, Kenyetta started going blind and was later diagnosed with M.S. while in her 40's but she hasn't let that slow her spirit down or stop living her life to the fullest. Kenyetta continues to live a happy life by find happiness in her everyday moments. This episode is full of hope that we could all use.
